When you're working to change the face of retirement in the UK, things move fast.

We already have 425 people. By the end of 2017, we'll have around 600. We'll be opening at least two new villages every year for the next five years, and welcoming hundreds more owners and guests onboard, too. That's why we need people who are as innovative in their field as we are in our sector, to help drive our success story forward.

Passion and pride

Whether they're finding the perfect site for our next development project, or delivering marketing that fuels the high demand for property in our villages even further, the people within our Central Support Team have one thing in common. They take pride in delivering innovative solutions that blaze a trail in our industry.

The skills you'll need

At Audley, we're growing fast, so you need to be someone who loves rising to the challenge of delivering work of an exceptional standard – even when things are changing rapidly. We're also a game-changing company. We've created a unique type of retirement village – and retirement lifestyle – by listening closely to the needs and wishes of our potential customers, that's why empathy is such an important skill here. Delivering what our owners want is paramount, that's the Audley way.

Where will you deliver exceptional service?

Land Acquisition & Planning

Join Audley, and you'll be involved in the acquisition and planning for our award-winning village developments (we won the WhatHouse? Best Retirement Development Gold award in 2012, 2013 and 2014). We already have seven completed villages, three under construction and two in the planning stage. Now our goal is to open at least two new village sites every year for the next five years – more than doubling our portfolio. With investment of £600 million to create 2,000 new units, our Land Acquisition and Planning team will be very busy.

What's more, these are complex and interesting developments, often based round heritage building conversions, and encompassing extensive new builds (and a new brand!). This is a very exciting place to be – both in terms of the quality of the developments you'll be involved in, and our rapid growth plans. We are also keen to keep our 100% planning pass rate too so… no pressure!

Finance

With £400 billion in housing wealth still to unlock from over 60s looking to downsize and 58% of this group actively looking to move, the retirement housing market is becoming one of the fastest growing specialist asset classes for investors. Our turnover has grown rapidly in the last 5 years up from £4.2 million in 2009 to £42.9 million in 2015. In 2016, it's forecast to reach £100 million.

Over the next five years, we plan to leverage funds to invest a total £600 million and develop more than 2,000 new units. What's more, we also plan to secure our path to a listing on the stock exchange. In addition, of course, we are also operating seven highly successful villages (with three more already under construction) in a business with over 425 people. During this time of innovation and growth, our finance department is an exciting and challenging place to develop your career.
