There's a warm, friendly atmosphere at all of our villages, so we're also looking for people who are great at building a rapport with others and have warm personalities themselves.

Where will you deliver exceptional service?


Mayfield’s M Bar and Kitchen is home to our restaurant and café bistro. Our Café-bistro menu includes light bite favourites such as the classic club sandwich or fresh salad, to flavoursome options for a full three-course meal. Think smoked salmon or baked camembert to start, and apple and blackberry pie or lemon tart to finish. And with a selection of mains including classics like sausage and mash, and beer battered fish, chips and mushy peas, our guests never leave hungry.

Our chefs have the opportunity to be creative and develop innovative menus for our regular themed events, working closely with our owners to produce an enticing menu for them to enjoy.

(You see, our M Bar and Kitchen is open to the wider public, as well as to our owners, their friends and their families.) Our kitchen teams all work independently, under the leadership of their Head Chef. Our chefs at all levels are very important to us as they’re key to delivering the lifestyle we want to offer our owners here at Mayfield. That’s why you can be sure we’ll invest in you and your future, with exceptional training, and opportunities to develop across our network of Villages. You’ll even enjoy more family friendly hours, with evening service ending earlier than in most catering roles. Property Sales

The Mayfield Villages offering is an exciting prospect. Following the success of Audley Villages, we wanted to develop a new high-quality brand for the mid-market customer – some 4.5 million people in the UK. Mayfield Villages is that brand, and the potential scale for expansion on a national level is huge.

We’ve already opened our first site in Watford, with 255 apartments, as well as a swimming pool, sauna and steam room, bar and bistro, fitness rooms and spa, and we anticipate rapid growth in village development over the next few years.

This is a sales role where you'll be selling not just a property, but also a type of retirement that can offer people a whole new lease of life. It's a long-term career prospect, because we develop our sites in phases, and resell apartments when they become available. We'll help you develop, too, with sales training throughout your career, including a management development programme. What’s more, there are wider opportunities throughout the Audley Group, including with our sister brand, Audley Villages.

Grounds and Maintenance

The Facilities team are a critical for the success of any of our villages, effective facilities management provides a safe and efficient working and living environment, which is essential to the performance of the village and the lifestyle of our owners.

Our Gardeners are responsible for ensuring the highest quality of grounds maintenance and development is provided to the village and owners. The focus is on providing an efficient and effective gardening service and ensuring the aesthetics of the village are maintained. You’ll take pride in your work by paying particular attention to the detail for our owners who expect a high level of service as well as having the opportunity to be involved in the development of the village grounds.

Health and Wellbeing

At Mayfield villages care, we’re proud of the way we’re enriching people’s lives. How? By helping people maintain their independence in their own home and delivering exceptional care that’s best in class. The Health & Wellbeing Assistant role offers homecare services to all our customers ranging from Health & Wellbeing activities, housekeeping, personal care, to companionship. The Health and Wellbeing team need to effectively maintain Mayfield’s objective to deliver high quality, compassionate care that is compliant to CQC requirements and facilitates re-enablement and support by showing Understanding, Empathy, Respect and Warmth to our customers.

You may already be a professional Carer; perhaps you've cared for a relative. Or you might be someone with the empathy, respect and warm nature we look for, who wants a more rewarding career. With the training you'll get from the Academy, and the support your team will provide, there are lots of opportunities to develop.

The majority of our roles require you to be a driver with access to your own car, but there are occasional opportunities for non-drivers.
